Flanked by a chestnut grove and Cayuga Lake, Goose Watch Winery in
Romulus, Seneca County, produces 17,000 cases of wine annually, including still wines, sparkling wines, port and sherry.
The tasting room is inside a century-old restored barn that has a wraparound
deck ideal for picnicking. It's a short stroll from Cayuga Lake’s western shore.
Still wines available for sampling include Viognier, Diamond, Traminette, Cabernet Sauvignon and Lemberger. Bubbly options include Spumante and a brut rosé made from Pinot Noir.
Tasting room hours: Open daily year-round, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tasting fee: $2 for six samples. $2 to taste the Reserve Cabernet
Sauvignon. $3 to taste the Cabernet Franc Ice. $5 per person for
groups of 10 or more. Each group member receives a $3 coupon toward a
wine purchase.
