Glenora Wine Cellars, the first winery on Seneca Lake, opened in 1977.
Just three decades later, it is producing 45,000 cases of wine and hosting 85,000 visitors at its winery, its Veraisons restaurant and its 30-room Inn at Glenora.
The inn's rooms are furnished with Mission-style furniture that Glenora commissioned from Stickley. Each has a spectacular view of Seneca Lake with a private balcony.
The restaurantís vaulted ceiling hints of the Arts and Crafts movement with its exposed beams and light fixtures. It, too, has a floor-to-ceiling view of Seneca Lake. From the patio, you can hear the wineryís summer jazz concerts.
On the floor beneath the restaurant is a small conference center, which Glenora rents out for small business functions and retreats.
The Glenora Wine Cellars winemaking team produces a variety of wines, including: Brut Sparkling, Chardonnay, Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cayuga and Seyval.
