Anthony Road Wine Co. will kick off the celebration of its 20th anniversary with an event March 21.

A weeklong program at Cornell University this summer will explore grape growing and winemaking.

Meet 10 Finger Lakes winemakers and further your wine education at a free event on Saturday, April 3.

In 1986, shoppers at New York City’s Greenmarket gave Eileen and Ken Farnan a nudge toward winemaking. Since then, the couple has opened a tasting room high above Keuka Lake, established a lineup of two dozen wines, endured a grape glut and raised a family.

The 2006 Fiori Vidal Blanc from Casa Larga Vineyards was named Best of Show in the first New York Ice Wine Competition.

Several wineries in the Finger Lakes are planning St. Patrick's Day celebrations the weekend of March 13 and 14.

The Rochester International Council is hosting its annual fundraiser March 26 at the Strathallan Hotel.

Sheldrake Point Vineyard will celebrate the "Ices of March" Saturday, March 13.

Six Mile Creek Vineyard will hold a fundraiser Friday and a wine education class March 20.

Casa Larga Vineyards' version of March Madness will include seminars on everything from bunco to ricotta pie, plus a performance by the Penfield Symphony Orchestra. Winery tours also will resume this month.
